Parenting Courses

All parenting courses are facilitated for individual families by online via Microsoft teams  or in-person appointment (60-75 minutes) available in the office in Causeway or Tralee. All courses are adapted for your individual family, circumstances and context.   

Cost of a 6 week course is €65 per session (€390 in total) if you choose to Pay As You Go. Or you can purchase a voucher for 6 week programme at the reduced cost of €360 and you can use the voucher to book sessions for dates and time to suit you. 

Group programmes are offered periodically. All group programmes will be posted here with more information and booking links when available. If you want to be among the first to be notified when groups courses are available you can subscribe to our email list in footer of page.

Parenting the child with Neurodiversity (2-18+ yrs)

Strengths based approach to raising competent, capable, independent, and resilient children and young adults.  Supporting them to maximise their individual potential and capacities.

Core parenting strategies as above for all the age groups are “broken down” individualised to accommodate the individual’s challenges, extra needs, and abilities.

Parents will be coached /encouraged to delve into training programs attended to come up with solutions and strategies for managing presenting behaviours based on training they have received such as TEACCH-PECS-Early Bird-Incredible years/Parenting plus/Hanen/zones of Regulation etc
